Hardware and stitching, guaranteed for the life of the harness.

The harness vest is the part that carries your dog, so that's the part we stand behind. If a buckle, D-ring, seam, or handle fails under normal walking, hiking, or training use, we replace the harness — no matter how long you've had it.

What is covered

Quick-release buckles that crack, jam, or slip
Seams and stress-point stitching that come apart
D-rings and metal hardware that bend, snap, or rust through
Webbing or the top handle tearing under normal use
Hook-and-loop patch panels that stop holding

Lifetime coverage applies to the harness vest. Leashes and collars carry a 12-month defect warranty. Pouches, patches, and free gift items are not covered.

What is not covered

Chew damage. Chewing, gnawing, or digging at the gear is the single most common cause of failure, and it is the clearest exclusion.
Normal wear — fading, scuffing, fraying edges, stretched elastic, dirt, or odour
Damage from cutting, sewing, or otherwise modifying the harness
Use as a tie-out, tether, tow line, restraint, or lifting device — this harness is not rated for those
Professional, police, military, or commercial K9 service use
Lost or stolen gear
Gear bought secondhand or from anywhere other than skogra.com

Activating your lifetime coverage

Register your harness within 30 days of delivery by emailing support@skogra.com with your order number and the subject line “Warranty Registration.” Registration is what upgrades your gear from our standard 12-month defect warranty to lifetime coverage.

How to make a claim

Email support@skogra.com with the subject line “Warranty Claim,” within 14 days of the failure.
Include your order number and clear photos of the damaged part. For most issues this is enough to approve the claim without a return shipment.
We respond within one business day. Approved claims ship a replacement for a $9.95 handling & shipping fee, with nothing to send back.

We replace with the same or a comparable current model. If your size or colour is discontinued, we substitute the closest available option or issue store credit, at our discretion.

Limits

Covers the original purchaser only and is not transferable if you resell or give the gear away.
“Lifetime” means the usable service life of the product, which we assess by its condition — not an unlimited entitlement to new gear.
One warranty replacement per harness. The replacement carries the remainder of the original coverage; it does not restart it.
Our total liability is limited to replacement of the product or the price you paid for it, whichever is less. We do not cover vet bills, lost items, or other consequential costs.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary by state or province, and nothing here limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
